Late Summer Bass Fishing With Senkos & Jigs

Hey Folks! This is footage from 9/18 which was the first time that I actually sent fishing solo in my new boat. The forecast had me excited because it predicted overcast with wind and rain all day. However, I got out later in the afternoon and it actually cleared up. It stayed sunny the entire time which I wasn’t too thrilled about.

I managed to catch a few on a wacky rigged senko. I dumped one that was definitely pushing 4 lbs but you can’t see it in the video with the water color and glare. I managed to catch one nice one that came in at 3.15 lbs on a 1 oz flippin jig. If you pay close attention you can see my hand/rod shake from when it slammed the jig. Then at the end of the day, just for fun, I caught a dink on a pen rod when I saw a small school of small largemouth swim by.

I also teach you how to die the San Diego Jam Knot!
